Susie Needham lives in Somerset. She is one of the UK’s leading photogram artists. Her images of fabrics – dresses, christening robes, blouses – old and new, have a haunting quality which gives them a visual edge. These are often sourced from families but she has also explored the large and fascinating collection of 18th to 20th century dresses and accessories at Killerton House, Devon. She was the first woman artist to show at the Fox Talbot Museum (alongside another photogram artist Angela Easterling) and has exhibited with Jagged Art, London.
