Hanna Palmer

Hannah Palmer was born as Hannah Emma Hollow (Annie) in 1881. She was a Bristol artist. She marred Edwin George Palmer (1887-1940). At some point they emigrated to Ben Lomond, New south wales, Australia, where she died in 1956. Little is known about her but judging from this print she was an accomplished artist.

This plate ‘Ivy Cottage’ was rediscovered in the 2000s and came into the hands of Jenny Graham, the Somerset painter and printmaker who printed off a small number of prints in 2013.
